We received a number of nominations for our "Blogging the Bible" series, in which David Plotz tackles the Old Testament book by book. Mike Shaw of Des Moines, Iowa, wrote: "I'm one of those people who have always had a curiosity about the Bible, but I've never been able to muscle my way through the language and convoluted plotlines. Plotz condenses it beautifully and always has a brilliantly funny take on the book's plain weirdness."
